Our website under went some maintenance today for around 4 hours.

It is now back and fully operational.

At this time some odd links may not work correctly and we are still working on finishing some minor points off.

As most of you can see we have made some updates to the website, at this time they are only “look and feel” updates but improvements none the less.

Some pages are still being brought over to the new template (such as the secure order forms) so you may see the old design and new design on and off for a little while.

US Bank Account Temporarily Suspended

Hello All.

All cash deposits, domestic bank wires and international bank wires to our US bank account at Wells Fargo have been suspended as of now.

Do not make anymore deposits or bank wires into our US bank account.

Sadly there have been problems not associated with TheGoldShop regarding fraudulent transfers and deposits into this bank account. Until these current issues are resolved we can not take anymore funds through that bank account.

Deposits in India To Resume

I am pleased to announce that we are now reopening our service to India!

We are now accepting local deposits to an Indian Bank account.

Please be aware that, due to the high costs required to cover red tape of doing business in India , BUY orders from India will incur an additional 1% fee on top of our current fees as listed on the RATES pages. We hope to be able to reduce this, however I am sure you are all very familiar with the costs of carrying a similar service in India.

Please note that although the payment will be done locally in Rupees, the order must be placed in USD. Once funds are received and cleared by our local agent, your order will receive the updated and current exchange rate of that day.

We have some exciting news with a new bank account in the USA.

We now have a Wells Fargo bank account available in the USA for cash deposit, domestic bank wires and international bank wires.

Online transfers and checks are NOT accepted in the USA (checks are not accepted in any country).

Please do not use our old Sun Trust bank account as of now. The old Sun Trust Bank account has already been closed.

We always recommend making a cash deposit - you are funded quicker - find your local Wells Fargo Bank branch.

Hello All.

We have some exciting news with the addition of a new bank account in India.

We now have a ICICI bank account available for cash deposit (only).

Online transfers and checks are NOT accepted in India (checks are not accepted in any country).

Please make sure you only deposit cold hard cash into our bank account and always remember the last two digits of you e-gold account to be the last two digits of you cash deposit (this is very important).

Please do not use our old HSBC bank account as of now. Any deposits made into our old HSBC bank account will be processed but not as fast as our new ICICI bank account AND at soon the old HSBC bank account will be closed.

Please use our new ICICI bank account for all orders from now on.

Find your local ICICI bank branch.

It seems most return clients can place orders without any problems but new clients - or return clients who delete their cookies - can not place any new orders.

This error is a result of server software upgrades yesterday.

Our sell order fee has been increased from 0% fee to 2% or $5 whichever is the greater.

As there is so much e-gold on the market right now we have had to increase our sell order fee - effective immediately.

Hello All.

As expected, all buy orders that are “ready” have been completed and accounts funded.

Expected turnaround time for buy orders now is within a hour of “funds received” status change (in other words once we receive your funds we will complete your order and fund your e-gold account). So for cash deposits most all orders will be completed the day the receipt is sent in (but send it in early!) and all transfers will be completed the day after that. Please note US orders take at least 48 hours to clear and be completed.

All sell orders have been processed and bank wires / transfers ordered.

All email inquiries where answered aswell.

Hello everyone.

Our server is still experiencing problems. Have have worked out the problem and it will be repaired within the next 12 to 18 hours.

Our TheGoldShop.biz main website will go down for about an hour tomorrow (you will be redirected to this site during this time) while the required changes are made.

After the changes are complete things will return to normal and we will be able to get through all the back log from today. We are of course doing what we can now but it is extremely slow.

All email inquiries, orders, deposit slips will be processed as soon as possible.

Hi everyone,

Today we are experiencing some server problems which are making everything run very very slowly.

Customers trying to place orders are not receiving a confirmation that the order has been placed and so are trying to place orders again and again, this is not necessary as we are receiving the orders at our end, but the customers are not receiving their confirmation emails.

We are manually processing orders until our server is back to normal. This should hopefully be within the next few hours.

We apologise for the poor service and inconvenience whilst we deal with this error.

SunTrust Bank Account Important Instructions

Cash deposits or domestic bank wires to our SunTrust bank account will take at least 48 hours to clear. The online statements for our SunTrust account are only updated once a day for the prior day transactions (not the current days deposits).

TheGoldShop.biz is using the professional services of cyfrocash.us to process our payments (cash deposits and bank wires) in the US.

If any customer of ours has any questions or a problem with their order it is greatly appreciated if you contact us first, please do not contact our bank with any questions regarding your order.
